Open Access Policy

The Sami Publishing Company (SPC) and its editorial team are committed to transparency and accuracy and are prepared to issue corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies whenever necessary. All articles published in SPC Open Access journals are made fully open access and are immediately available for reading, downloading, and sharing without restriction. Publications in SPC journals are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows users to read, print, download, copy, distribute, republish (including repository display), translate, and reuse content for text and data mining, as well as to incorporate portions of the work into other publications, including for commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given. To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate similarity-checking software and are subsequently subjected to a rigorous peer-review process conducted by international experts.

  • The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, and perpetual right of access to the work. This includes permission to copy, use, distribute, transmit, publicly display, and create derivative works in any digital medium for legitimate purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors. Users may also produce a limited number of printed copies for personal use.
  • Upon initial publication, the complete version of the article, along with all supplementary materials and documentation of the permissions outlined above, is deposited in at least one recognized online repository. Such repositories are maintained by academic institutions, scholarly societies, government agencies, or other established organizations that support open access, unrestricted dissemination, interoperability, and long-term preservation.
